With the crowd on their feet at the Al Wasl sports club in Dubai, India won the Kabaddi Masters Dubai trophy 2018 by dominating the tournament winning all the matches. India marched uninterruptedly towards the trophy marking a way for a new characterized ‘India’ which is relentless and aggressive. The team defeated quality opponents without taking a back foot in any of the matches throughout the competition.
Captain Ajay Thakur retained his world record of not losing a single tournament as captain and led the team to a spectacular 44—26 victory. India defeated Iran in the summit clash with Ajay Thakur scoring 9 and Monu Goyat scored 6 points .They were well backed by the ever consistent Surjeet Singh who defense kept the spice of the game going by restricting the opponents.
Indian kabaddi looked relentless in its approach and the team looked like it was fighting against itself and never looked satisfied unless a big win was achieved.
